         <description>Two of RIT's own, senior forwards Matt Smith
and Simone Lambert, have signed contracts to
play hockey professionally.

Smith signed with the South Carolina Stingrays,
part of the East Coast Hockey League, back in
March. He made his first appearance in a professional
game on March 2, 2008. He has two
shots on goal. Smith's career at RIT was a strong
one with 62 goals and 51 assists. Even further,
Smith's 44 power-play goals are tied with the
most in the history of the men's hockey...</description>

         <title>RIT's Hockey Season Ends</title>

         <description>The men's hockey team fell to Air Force 5-0 in what was described
as an &quot;abrupt end to the season&quot; by RIT Head Coach
Wayne Wilson. Air Force took the lead early in the game with
one goal scored by the end of the first period. Brennan Sarazin,
a third year left wing, crashed the net late in the first period,
only to be stopped by Air Force's goalie Andrew Volkening in
one of RIT's best attempts at scoring.
